Fox McCloud Could Benefit From a Web Marketing Company

By Rob Sutter

It's hard to believe that a company with so many different characters cannot find certain spots for all of them. Out of all of the Nintendo franchises that I am a fan of, I believe that "Star Fox" is one of the finer picks. This was, to me, the ideal mesh of science fiction and action and I don't think many people will disagree with the admiration I have for it. However, Fox McCloud has been missing, it seems, and a web marketing company could prove to be most ideal.

Fox McCloud is very much the leader of the Star Fox team and one of the most relatable members you could cite. He has his allies, of course, but some of them have their quirks which effect their likability. Falco Lombardi, for example, is definitely the most attitudinal of the team and he oftentimes rubs people the wrong way with his comments. Slippy Toad is seen as incompetent when operating a vehicle, making him quite a target amongst gamers who aren't above taking a shot at him.

Star Fox's team is full of characters, each of them diversified. If you had to talk about the reasons why the series hasn't quite reached the level it deserved to, I think you have to consider the type of genre that it falls under. This isn't anything like Mario, which is a platforming series that just about anyone can simply jump into. Star Fox is a shooter which is situated in a predetermined path and I don't know how many people are going to give this underrated series the attention it deserves.

While Fox McCloud has mostly relied on his offense within an Arwing, I believe that his other qualities could be highlighted by a web marketing company. After all, think about just how capable he was during the "Super Smash Bros." series. Without any ship or aircraft to control, he was left with his innate ability and his quickness - not to mention personality - showed itself. Seeing as how he possesses desired facets for an action hero, he's one of the easier characters that an agency like fishbat could market.

It's easy to see if a character is going to be successful or not based on how the character is designed. This could fall into a number of categories, whether it's the overall appearance he or she has or the way that the backstory is crafted. However, I'd like to think that there is potential for every entity and it's just a matter of building a game which showcases the most positive of traits. A web marketing company can easily help those entities which haven't been given the proper notoriety.
